Xenadrine RFA-X is one supplement that many people won’t like, however some people will so I’m basing this review on consumption, body interaction and results. I had purchased a bottle a while ago and had in fact taken it, though most of the bottle still sits in my cabinet. The biggest problem I had with it is that it wasn’t the original Xenadrine and they took a terrible route to try to mimic their original product that many people liked, though regulations now prevent their original product from being sold.
Consumption
The amount that you have to consume is a little much. You have to take three capsules twice a day. These aren’t little capsules mind you, they’re rather large and a little more than I would want to swallow, since my bottle still sits hidden in the back of my cabinet I would have to say that I apparently chose not to swallow them.
Body Interaction
To understand what Cytogenix, the makers of Xenadrine have done lets go back to the original Xenadrine. The original Xenadrine had ephedrine as did pretty much any bodybuilding supplement during that time. Regulations came along that required all ephedrine to be kept out of bodybuilding supplements, so the quest to create a similar product began. Many supplement makers have been able to achieve this.
I cannot say the same for Xenadrine, they have replaced it with Caffeine and many other caffeine like herbs. The end result, way more stimulant reaction than anybody should have at one time. My reaction was so intense that my head literally felt like it could explode, hence the mostly full bottle that remains.
Results
First let’s look at their claim, “Test subjects slashed 4.2 times the weight than the placebo group.” To begin with they are comparing their results to a placebo group and any thermogenic supplement will give more results than the natural unassisted group. So does it work? To a degree yes, Their thermogenic compounds work and fat burning does in fact increase, however Xenadrine RFA-X doesn’t stand out as the new miracle fat burner and at best it’s only average and therefore certainly not worth the price, the amount you have to take or the possibility of side effects. There are just better supplements on the market.
