Nitric Oxide – Should you take it?
Should you take Nitric Oxide? This is a common question that eventually arrives. You’re already taking creatine and protein so should you need to add Nitric Oxide? Personally, I have come to this question in the past and after a little research I decided to give it a test run.

Following my test run, I’d have to say yes you might want to consider taking it. Simply put, Nitric Oxide provides the added edge that is needed to push harder and longer. Additionally it speeds recovery time, reducing the strain that we put on our body day in and day out.
How does Nitric Oxide work?
The single most important benefit of Nitric Oxide is that it increases blood flow. When you’re working out, Nitric Oxide will send increased blood flow to wherever it’s needed. For example, if you’re doing an intense arm workout Nitric Oxide works by sending your arm muscles extra blood flow that then allows you to push harder without being limited by depleted muscles.
Are all Nitric Oxides the same?
As with any supplement, you definitely want to pick the best. I learned this or was reminded of this firsthand by originally purchasing the VPX NO Shotgun MHF-1 after I had used it up; I bought a different brand that failed to stack up next NO Shotgun. It was more difficult to mix, leaving a chalky residue. To combat the residue they had added strange flavorings making it almost impossible to drink. To be completely honest, it didn’t seem to work the same and therefore compromised my workout results.
